Financial Assistance

Any player who requires financial assistance please see the information below for the registration process.

RWZCSA believes that no child should be left on the sidelines and all should be given the opportunity to experience the positive benefits of organized sports. Although RWZCSA endeavours to keep the cost of soccer to a level that is affordable for all families, there may still be financial barriers that could prevent some from playing.

In those situations, RWZCSA will work with families to put you in contact with an agency that may be able to help with financial assistance. The principal organization that RWZCSA works with for financial assistance is KidSport™.  

KidSport

The process to register for a RWZCSA season using Kidsport (or JumpStart or any other outside organization) to or pay RWZCSA soccer fees are:

• Complete the Kidsport application form either online form or using the paper application.
• Submit the completed form to KidSport. If you used the paper application you will need to deliver it to Kidsport at 1870 Lorne Street, Regina, SK, S4P 2L7
• Complete a RWZCSA in-person registration form.
• Bring the completed registration form and proof of your submitted KidSport application to the RWZCSA in-person registration or drop it off at the West Zone Board Office in the NorthWest Leisure Centre.
• Alternatively, apply online and select the "funded" option. You will still require to submit proof of application. This option does NOT cover community membership

Once your application is received, RWZCSA will work with Kidsport to coordinate payment and your registration will be processed as soon as we receive confirmation from Kidsport of your application.

This is the only acceptable process for registration to RWZCSA using outside financial assistance.  If you register using online or in-person registration and pay personally, then subsequently KidSport (or another organization) sends RWZCSA a payment, RWZCSA is not permitted to refund the money to you.  So please follow the above process.

Although KidSport is our preferred provider for financial assistance, other methods such as JumpStart are also acceptable. Please follow the above process as closely as possible when using alternate providers for financial assistance.
