Purpose
To provide skill development training and drills for youth playing RWZCSA 2026 outdoor soccer.
The clinic will provide players the opportunity to work on skill development and the remainder of the season would be available for further development and practice in game situations. Coaches have been invited to attend along with their teams. (No cost for coaches and no registration is required.)

Please note that the location of the skills clinic has changed to Mamowimiweyitamowin field. This field is located at the site of the old Par 3 Golf Course just west of the Swimming Pool on McKinley Avenue. The City Park address is listed as 560 Elphinstone St. but the park is accessed off McKinley Avenue where there is street parking.

8U - 9am to 12pm (morning)
10U - 1pm to 4pm (afternoon)
Players should arrive 15 minutes early.
Instructors have been asked to be at the field by 8:00 to set up for the sessions. West Zone will provide Executive members to register the players.
Who Can Attend?
Anyone registered in our 8U or 10U age groups with a maximum registration set at approximately 60 players in each age group. Late Registration is open on the day of the Clinic if there are still spots available in person (cash only).
Coaches of the teams are welcome as well
What to Bring?
Players are to wear their soccer team jersey, shorts, shinguards, sock and footwear. Players should bring water bottles. All participants (players, coaches and instructors) should come prepared to be physically active.
Format
The clinic will be offered as circuit training. Groups of players (possibly a team with their coach or approximately 10 players) will be scheduled to attend the clinic in 3 hour blocks throughout the day.
Six stations will be set up on a full-sized athletic field and players will practice within their station territory (approximately 25m by 50m).
· After full group warm-up (5-10 minutes), each smaller group of players will enter a position within the circuit and receive instruction and practice in drills. After 20 minutes, the group will move to the next station in the circuit.
· After completion of the last station, groups will practice throw-ins, play mini-games for 15-20 minutes and then complete a cool-down (5-10 minutes).
· Opening and Closing comments are scheduled for 5 minutes each. Two 5-minute breaks are also scheduled.
